Location; Moscow, Russia Client; Krost company Area; 6400 m2 Project; 2008 Project team; Matej Kučina, Urban Švegl, Vida Kac, Mojca Mežek The conceptual groundwork stems from two predispositions: 1. the infrastructure through the space connects the main entrance points and at the same time represent the framework for the park’s design; 2. individual structures and vegetation complement the bare infrastructure or the basic construction. This concept gives us a complex groundwork for our design that is functional and rich in both the infrastructure and individual structures and vegetation. The design consists of an infrastructural network which is complemented by individual structures and vegetation. The surfaces adjacent to the passage are partly elevated and organized as decorative plantings. Interweaved green and paved surfaces shift into the mostly green area of the park on the southeastern part, which also hosts a playground for children surrounded by a support wall and dense vegetation. The space is functionally organized and divided into smaller or larger thematically arranged surfaces that offer special places with all the necessary urban accessories.
